 Catherine Ferrer is a "zealous nut" for placemaking and public space. She has dedicated herself to building collaborative teams that tackle complex challenges, have fun, and learn. A bi-lingual placemaking facilitator, Catherine’s work resulted in public space improvements, volunteerism, business growth, and events (including a public market). A New College of Florida graduate, she recently completed courses with Harvard and People’s Institute for Survival & Beyond.

Place 4 Consulting exists to facilitate people getting involved in the improvement of the places that matter to them. My specialty is community engagement in public places like parks, sidewalks and plazas. Fortunately the skills that build these places into treasured destinations also apply to privately-managed spaces like residential communities, office parks, and industrial spaces.

Based in the US state of Florida with access to major airport hubs allows Place 4 Consulting to connect with clients throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Large cities grab headlines and have big budgets but small- to mid-sized cities are excellent labs for innovation in placemaking. Place 4 works in all places worth improving.
