Who is Place 4 Consulting?
Founder and Placemaking Advocate Catherine Ferrer dreamed of being an architect when she was a little girl in rural NW Ohio. What started as a fascination with buildings grew to be an obsession with the spaces between those buildings and how cities are a place for connection, opportunity, and innovation.
What does Place 4 Consulting do?
Place 4 Consulting exists to facilitate people getting involved in the improvement of the places that matter to them. My specialty is community engagement in public places like parks, sidewalks and plazas. Fortunately the skills that build these places into treasured destinations also apply to privately-built spaces like residential communities, office parks, and industrial spaces.
Where does Place 4 Consulting work?
Based in the state of Florida with access to major airport hubs allows Place 4 Consulting to connect with clients throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Large cities grab headlines and have big budgets but small- to mid-sized cities are excellent labs for innovation in placemaking. Place 4 works in all places worth improving.
